Who are Compact Colour?
After working in image consultancy, we know
that 'getting your colours done' is a great personal boost
and can kick start a life change. Not everyone has the time
or money to spend on a full image consultation but, given
their tonal group classification, clients can grasp the
concept and learn how to put outfits together through
further reading and experimentation. Compact Colour has been
set up to provide a low cost, but effective, colour
analysis for those people who want to have the key
information to help themselves. Clients' photos will be
examined by an experienced IHBC qualified image consultant
who will also oversee the making up of the swatch booklet.
This is a personal service and does not use a computer
software tool as part of the analysis process.
What is colour analysis?
Colour analysis is an assessment of a persons
natural colouring. The quality and depth of colour found in
the hair, eyes and skin tone. We look our best when we wear
colours that are in tune with our natural colouring. Knowing
we look good builds confidence and we project ourselves, not
our clothes. Coco Chanel said "Dress shabbily and they
remember the dress, dress impeccably and they remember the
woman".
What are the benefits of colour analysis?
Once you have your swatch of colours you will
see they belong to a 'family': they all fit together. You
now have a system to help save you time and money. You will
be able to compare new clothes against the swatches before
you invest time or money in them. When you decide to
purchase an item you can be confident that it will fit with
other clothes you already own. Knowing you look good will
make wearing your clothes fun, you will get better value
from them and cut the cost of unworn items.
What if I have dyed my hair?
Colour analysis is always carried out on your
natural colouring this establishes the tones that will
always complement you. ( It is important therefore to
ensure the photo you send of your hair includes your natural
colour.) You can of course adapt your colours to fit
with changes you make to your natural look.
What if my hair has gone grey, or
goes grey after the analysis?
No problem, your
analysis is made on your natural colouring and this does not
change. As you lose some depth of colour, you may chose to
adapt the way you wear your colours but you will not change
to a completely different tonal group.
Can I only wear the colours in my
booklet of swatches?
The colours in your wallet are a selection to
demonstrate the 'tonal group' of colours that will
complement you. You can add other colours to you wardrobe
as long as they share the same colour qualities.
Will you share my personal
information?
In accordance with the Data Protection Act
1998, your details will never be shared with any 3rd party
unless we are required by law to do so. All client
photographs are destroyed 3 months after order date.
Is ordering online safe?
Online payments are
made through Paypal, meaning we do not personally process
your card details. In addition to this, each stage of your
order is encrypted with an industry-standard 128-bit Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL).
